Welcome Tate and Wren to our clan officially! It only took 2 years :)

Happy Happy Happy NEW YEAR!

Are you thankful for God’s goodness over the last year?  We are.  In the weird world of 2020, we are still so thankful for the many blessings of God.  Some of our highlights were navigating our first year of pre-field ministry while balancing a full-time job, starting home school (I’m sure many of you can relate!), the adoption of our two youngest kiddos, and connecting with several churches, small groups and individuals who have all agreed to be part of our sending team to Peru.  Based on all commitments in, we are at present 85% of the way there with our outfit and passage need of $55,000 which includes language schools, shipping, moving, flights, vehicle, and necessary technology for the work in Peru.

Additionally, (so long as all January commitments roll in), we will be over the 50% mark for ongoing monthly support.  50%! It is amazing to us that even in a year of weirdness and COVID-19 that God is faithful to raise up the necessary funds to propel us towards the great need in Peru.  Here in Iowa, there in a gospel church for roughly every 4,000 people.  In the city of Lima, there is less than one for every 25,000.  The need is great.  The field is white for harvest.  Pray with us, that the Lord send us in 2021 to the harvest of south America.

Please remember to share your prayer requests with us.  We earnestly desire to uphold you all in prayer.  It is no mistake that God has placed us in contact with you and we know that many of you pray with us and for us regularly.

Our requests have changed a little😊

1.      That God continue giving us opportunities to share Jesus with lost people.

2.      That God bring in all of the necessary funds to do the work in Peru.

3.      That we continue to grow in humility and Christ likeness.

On number 3, we know we have a long way to go.  But God is faithful to complete what He started in us and will continue to do so in this new year.

We praise the Lord for each of you!
