Mission Possible
I want to start by saying that God is on the move. He is busy at work all over the world and is moving among His people in so many ways. As Debbie and I have continued to faithfully pray with you about how He would want us to serve in Peru and who would want to partner with us, He has been faithful to lead the effort and encourage us.
Did you know encouragement is in short supply today? Well it is. We have often been asked leading questions like “I bet you have really backed off on your time frame due to Covid haven’t you?” Or “I hope you are patient enough to finalize the adoption next year with all of the delays”, or “ Don’t you think you should consider just serving in the states until this all blows over?”
These well-meant questions could not be further from the truth. We are walking by faith and trusting that God is going before us and raising up His people to partner with our ministry because He is faithful. He is good. He is greatly to be praised. His plans will be thwarted by no one. His understanding is beyond our own. And He will glorify His name in all the earth. And Debbie and I have the privilege of front row seats to what he is doing. So, I want to tell you about that!
Number 1: We have been on the road a lot lately! Mostly in Iowa but our first out of state thing was to be in North Dakota at a mission conference. Last min, it was cancelled, and we were left with 3 days and “nothing to do”. So what to do? We used it to pour into our marriage and went to Minn instead. We were able to meet with 3 individual couples, 1 church, and 1 couple from our past who we sought to encourage to remember their salvation and walk with God again. And man what a time it was! We saw God at work in it and in us. We left that journey with 3 additional financial partners and had a great time encouraging this couple in the Lord. Pray with us that God heal and restore them to himself. In that time we also set a prayer goal. We are praying that God allow us to be fully funded by March 30 of 2021.
That is in bold because it is a bold request from God. To lose 6 months of meetings due to Covid and trust that he can provide by the end of March. We know He can and ask that you pray with us.
Number 2: Adoption day is set! We are set to adopt our two youngest on November 10th at 8am! Glory to God.
Number 3: Our support is nearly to 50%. Pray with us that God push us over 50% in the next few weeks.

1. That God would continue to do great things for His glory
2. That we would continue to have opportunities to share Jesus with others.
3. That God would raise up ministry partners to join us in prayer and give generously to Church Planting in Peru.
